The children’s book department is situated on the groundfloor, right next to the Periodics Room. The collection is available by open shelf system and consists of almost 20.000 items:
• Different types of story-books, fiction for children, illustrated books, postcards
• Compulsory readings from Hungarian and Romanian literature
• Hystorical fiction, tales, epics, poems for children
• Lexicons, dictionaries, handbooks
• Handbooks for teachers and parents, pedagogic books
The collection is available on spot but books can be borrowed too. Computers are available for different activities (internet, information gathering, editing documents)
Workshops for children
We organize regular occupations for preschoolers and students from elementary school during the school-year.
Previuos registration needed, either personally in the Children’s Library Department or on the following number: 0736-634648.
If necessary, the library can provide special tools, materials, equipment for certain activities, thematic teaching courses, etc
