The department is situated on the first floor and extends on a large space of access. 40% of the library’s whole collection is availible to the public by open-shelf system.
The core collection consists of books from various fields of study, including Hungarian, Romanian and world literature, academic and specialized literature, scientific works and other references. Alongside books and publications, visitors can also borrow audiovisual items, CDs, DVDs, videotapes or audiobooks.

Most of the computers are available here for different uses.
