The lecture hall of the Kájoni János County Library was full, nearly ninety people gathered together to celebrate the Hungarian Culture Day on the 22nd of January, 2015. Artist Torma Mária introduced herself by presenting her so-called Chronicler Songs (Krónikás énekek) podium program with the support of the folk musician, Szűcs Miklós. In the second half of the evening, the editorial staff of the Szeklerland cultural magazine (Székelyföld kulturális folyóirat) greeted Ferenczes István (writer, poet, founding editor of the magazine, prominant personality of Transylvanian Hungarian literature and public life), who was celebrating his 70th birthday.
The so-called event, Home in the Homeland (Hon a hazában) was organized by the Harghita County Council, Hungary's Consulate General in Csíkszereda, the Cultural Centre of the Balassi Institution of Sfântu Gheorghe, the editorial staff of the Szeklerland magazine, the Harghita Publications Office and the Kájoni János County Library.
