On Monday, the 11th of November, István Pávai presented his book entitled Az erdélyi magyar népi tánczene [The Transylvanian Hungarian Folk Dance Music] in front of a large public. Erzsébet Györfi singer, accompanied by the band of the Hargita Nemzeti Székely Népi Együttes [Hargita Natinal Szekler Folk Ensemble] performed folk songs. István Pávai, associate to the Institute of Musicology of the MTA BTK [Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Research Centre of the Humanity], professor at the Music Academy talked about the reasons he had become an ethnomusicologist and presented his book.
