Unusual reading circle
Our reading circle was meeting again, but in another, unconventional way: we met online!
"It was a very interesting experience, and it was good to hear each other even in this situation. We were talking about pandemic, the virus, about this uncomfortable situation, about school, learning, exams and especially our feelings and thoughts connected to all these topics. And then we were discussing about the last days experiences connected to books." More ►

12th International Reading Marathon: József Attila - 2020
The main organizer of the 12th International Reading Marathon is the Kájoni János County Library of Csíkszereda with the support of the Harghita County Council. Last year this cross-border eveniment had more than 33.000 participants from 12 countries and 292 locations!
After the works of all the greatest authors such as Benedek Elek, Orbán Balázs, Jókai Mór, Arany János, Gárdonyi Géza, Móricz Zsigmond, Kányádi Sándor, Tamási Áron, Szabó Magda, Petőfi Sándor and Radnóti Miklós, this year on the 18th of February, we are going to evoke József Attila (1905-1937) by reading his works on the occasion of his birth's 115th anniversary.
Our aim is to raise awareness of our Hungarian literature's greatest personalities, works, of those human, moral and artistic values that it represents and of the fact that reading is important, good and most of all that reading together is way more better. More ►
