CHRISTMAS PEARL CHARM 2019 - exhibiting unique pearls in the library

The members of the "Gyöngyitisz" beading club organized their traditional December exhibition called "Christmas Pearl Charm". At the exhibition opened on December 17, 2019 in the foreground of the Kájoni János County Library, interested peopole can visit the latest creations of the club members, handmade unique creations, modern pearls until January 16, 2020.

Write yourself - The Writers' Creative Camp is taking place in the library

A high school student writing creative camp is held in the second week of December at the Kájoni János County Library. The camp was organized with the support of the Harghita County Council. The mentors -Réka Miklós (Bleeding Bride, Valeria Screwy) writer,László Borsodi  poet, literary critic, teacher, editor of Székelyföld magazine and László Lázár Lövétei writer, literary translator - provide useful guidance and ideas participating young writing candidates.

Double book presentation: Élő ház - Testfüggőség

A double book presentation took place on December 6, 2019 in the library's auditorium: Books Az élő ház of Dénes Tamás and Testfüggőség of István Szabó Miklóssi were presented. The authors of the two newly published prose volumes were at the meeting to talk to each other. The event was sponsored by the Harghita County Council.

Librarian methodical day

December 2, 2019 was the last librarian methodical day of the year in Miercurea-Ciuc. In addition to the professional meeting, book packages related to the National Year of the Book program in Romania were distributed, as well as the launch of the Healthy Lifestyle Program announced under the Municipal Library Development Program.

ADY 100 - exhibition opened at the library

The members of the Gyárfás Jenő Amateur Artists Association from Saint George (Sepsiszentgyörgy) made an exhibition for the honour of the death of Ady Endre poet. The exhibited artworks were inspired by the poet's life and poems. 

You can see the exhibition of 14 amateur artists which was opened in the library's conference space in 22nd November 2019.
