Within the confines of the annual reading marathon – organized by the Hargita Megyei Hagyományőrzési Forrásközpont and the Cimbora Gyermekek Klubja – this year, on the 19th of February the participants read works by Géza Gárdonyi, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the writer’s birth. The Kájoni János Library of Harghita County contributed to the organization of the event, and as a response to our appeal, at around 1300 people had participated from Csíkszereda and its vicinity. The event took place in the auditorium of our library between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., and was attended by 250 students from 5 schools of the city.
