The Kájoni János County Library organized the Folktale Day for the first time ten years ago to the Hungarian Reading Company's (HUNRA) appeal on the 30th of September, which marks the birthday of our great fabulist, Benedek Elek. This year the fairy-tale heroes were vivified again at the library. We held the I've Become a Fairy-tale Hero competition on the 30th of September, where the 3-4th grade students' task was to vitalize their favorite fairy-tale hero based on their external (clothing) and internal properties (introduction).
